  Buy with confidence! My husband and I live in NZ and we decided to head off in June 2016 to spend 9 months in France. To do this we needed to have a left hand drive car and we fortunately connected with the guys at The Left Hand Drive Place. Finding that a lease car was very expensive for that duration and only able to do it for six months maximum -buying a car was the only option. We were understandably nervous about buying a car from 12000 miles away but Martin soothed away our fears......time after time after time! Martin was amazingly patient in explaining the process, giving us recommendations for insurance and working with the budget we had. We ended up buying an Opel Zafira (three thousand pounds) from these guys and did over 13000 Km's on french roads in all weathers and it never missed a beat! We had an AA check done prior to purchase on the vehicle, all things noted as must dos were done by LHD Place at their cost and then we paid for the would likes as extra insurance for worry free motoring while away. We had discussed the LHD Place purchasing the car back from us when it was time to return to NZ and that worked perfectly. We received 50% of the value of the purchase price (as agreed) and we were chauffeured down to Heathrow in what was no longer our vehicle, to make our flight back home. All in all - they were wonderful to deal and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.!
